Smooth riding in a small package
Smooth riding and a high-quality suspension seat – these are the highlights of the Venom 2+ Ebike – not to mention the brakes engage extremely well and will not disappoint!

Tyre Specifications
The Venom 2+ is equipped with 14” CST pneumatic tyres. What’s so special about pneumatic tyres? One of the biggest benefits of using pneumatic tyres is it’s ability to absorb the unevenness of the terrain. This allows for a smoother ride with less bumping and shaking, perfect for the urban city of Singapore and it’s partially rough heartland terrains.

Unique Features
One unique feature of the Venom 2+ Ebike, which many ebikes are not equipped with, would be the braking lights – even when the front and rear lights are not switched on. When braking, it automatically activates the braking light, signalling to motorists on the road and allowing them to understand your intentions.

Battery
Venom 2+ Ebike is 36V 10Ah and uses a reliable detachable battery – the Samsung 35E 3500mAh x3. According to my firsthand experience using it for GrabFood deliveries, on one full charge, it can complete up to 12 trips despite using the highest gear, gear 3. The lower the gear used, the more trips or distance you can cover.
Drawbacks
It is no doubt that the 14” CST pneumatic tyres enable a smooth riding experience, however, I feel that it may not be the most suitable for rainy weather – probably due to the grids of the tyres. With regard to the brakes, it did not disappoint, however over a prolonged period of usage, the disc brakes would cause a screeching sound when engaging the brakes.

For leisure riding or food delivery?
Without the screeching sound produced by Venom 2+’s brakes and the “lack-of-grid” tyres it would have almost made it to be one of the ebikes with excellent riding experience. However, I do understand why many riders would choose to utilize this ebike, given it’s sporty outlook and given name – Venom! I would still recommend this ebike to riders that are looking to do recreational riding, as there are still many options to consider in the event that one would like to utilize it for food delivery.
RATING ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
(disclaimer: ratings are opinions of one individual and may vary from person to person)
Out of 5, I would rate the Venom 2+ a 3.8, as it met the target number of delivery trips that I would have done! Apart from meeting my target number of trips, on it’s last bar it still runs at constant speed of 23km/h, whereas some ebikes’ speed would have dropped drastically.
